Gabriel Chernick is an award-winning composer, conductor, and jazzpianist from London with a diverse background in musical theatre.
Theatre Includes: POLICE COPS (MusicalDirector & Associate Musical Supervisor, Southwark Playhouse); OPERATION MINCEMEAT (Musical Director & Score Producer); BACK TO THE FUTURE THE MUSICAL (Score Editor); DOCTOR DOLITTLE THE MUSICAL (Assistant Orchestrator, UK Tour);and BEACHES THE MUSICAL (West End presentation).
Film/TV Includes: ARGYLLE (Universal); MISSION IMPOSSIBLE:DEAD RECKONING, DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOUR AMONG THIEVES (Paramount); BLACK ADAM (Warner Bros.); TICKET TO PARADISE (George Clooney, Julia Roberts); and recently asa composer and orchestrator for Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe.
Outside of Film and Theatre, Gabriel conducts I Dodici, a professional chamber choir performing concerts and services around the UK andEurope at venues such as St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Notre DameCathedral, and St Martin-in-the-Fields.
Gabriel studied Music at the University of Cambridge before embarking on a Masters in Scoring for Film and Television at theNational Film and Television School.
